US military base, Fort Riley is a big energy producer in Junction City, Kansas. Military housing manager, Corvias, installed solar systems on 350 military family homes using Silfab Solar panels, totaling 6.4MW, in phase 2 of the base’s turn toward electrification. When done, the rooftop systems will offset 40% of the power used by on-base military housing.
“This achievement reflects our continued commitment to the Department of Defense (DoD) and to energy conservation.”
